Privacy Policy

This is courier base proprietor base company, Mumbai Express has been giving services to its clients by carrying Documents / Parcels for delivery to the various destinations under the following terms & Conditions:

• Next working day delivery procedure. The delivery timing between 10.30 a.m to 06.00 p.m. ( Except Special Delivery ).
• MUMBAI EXPRESS could not do so due to the reasons as door closed / person not available, MUMBAI EXPRESS will make a second attempt on the next working day. No Service will be provide to the Consignor on Holiday declared by the management of MUMBAI EXPRESS.
• Acknowledgement slip of individual document will be received by The Service Seeker within three working days after the date of delivery. Mumbai Express do not deliver the documents to a P.O.Box address. Documents / Parcels booked by The Service Seeker are delivered to the consignee / person who accepts on their behalf, at the given address, is deemed to be delivered to the consignee and the acknowledgment is obtained.
• Once the consignee receives the document / parcel and signs on the Proof of Delivery ( P.O.D. ), it is assumed that the consignee has received the document / parcel intact, after that, any claim will be treated void.
• Mumbai Express may avail any type of transportation for smooth and quicker delivery. Mumbai express will not be in a position to ‘hold’ or return documents in transit for any reason, for the explicit purpose of resolving any dispute between The Service Seeker and their customers.
• The document undelivered on account of the consignee being absent or the premises being closed, an intimation in the prescribed form will be left there requesting the consignee to collect the document, on second consecutive day Mumbai express will make one more attempt for delivery, failing which the article will be returned to The Service Seeker.
• Monthly contract basis, one pick-up daily. In case of additional pick-up, The Service Seeker will depute representative at Mumbai Express service centre with the documents. In case of bulk quantity the documents must reach Mumbai express service centre by 12.00 noon, So that the next working delivery schedule is assured. In case a load of 200 documents and above are given at one time then Cheque payment for the entire load will have to be made at the time of pick-up.
• The terms and conditions continued here above will be subject to change from time to time based on need and on any new service being offered by Mumbai express reserves the right to change, amend or cancel, any of the clauses.

Consignment Note & Booking Conditions

• Clients may carefully note that their envelopes / packets must not contain any letter or communication which will infringe the India Post Office Act, 1893. Cheques, Drafts, Files, Stationery Documents, Negotiable Instruments, Banking Papers LCs and such other documents are not barred from being sent through Courier Services. We accept envelops / parcels in good faith that they do not contain anything which infringe the law.
• Goods of hazardous nature which are expressly prohibited by Railway, Airport Authority or any other transport agency shall not be accepted.
• Company shall not be liable for any loss arising due to consequential of goods by any government or local authority.
• Consignors are advised to insure parcels containing valuables.
• Our liability in case of any loss or damage shall not exceed Rs. 100/-.
• The company shall not be liable for any consequential loss arising due to delay/loss/damage/pilferage from the delivery or non-delivery of consignment.
• The Company shall not be liable for any loss incurred due to the causes beyond its control such as floods, accidents, fire, theft, war etc.
• Every effort is made to adhere to the delivery schedule but it may be delayed in the circumstances beyond our control. Provide telephone numbers or location map, otherwise delivery will be subject to locating the addresses. We do not deliver the consignments to P. O. Box address.
• Taxes or any other charges liveable by any Central / State / Local Authorities wherever applicable shall be extra and payable by the Consignor / Consignee.
• For packets weighing very little but occupying Abnormal / Additional Area, will be charged volumetrically.
• We will also be not liable for any loss, mis-deliver, delay or damages to any article / things / Documents sent through us and no officer of company is liable for any such loss or mis-delivery delay or damage except to the extent mentioned at Sr. No. 5 above.
• Mumbai Express. has the right but not the obligation, to inspect any shipment including without limitation to opening the shipment.
• We do not carry cash, jewellery, precious metals, contraband etc; if it is lost we are not responsible.
• Our rates are for each article unless stated otherwise.
• Proof of Delivery can be made available on request and such request must be made within thirty days of the despatch of the consignment. No claim may be made against us outside of that time limit. We keep records for 3 months only.
• Any Dispute on this booking is for settlement within Jurisdiction Mumbai Courts / Consumer Redressed Forum.
• Schedule of delivery depend on MODE of Transport.
• Mumbai Express shall have a general LIEN against owners of the goods / shipper / consignee for any monies whatever due from the shipper, consignee or owner to Mumbai Express.
• Consequential Damages Excluded. Mumbai Express shall not be liable for any consequential or special amages or other direct or indirect loss however arising whether Mumbai Express had knowledge that such damages might be incurred including but not limited to loss of income / profits / interest / utility or loss of market Taxes or any other charges leviable by any Central / State / Local Authorities wherever applicable shall be extra and payable by the Consignor / Consignee. The consignment note is not a Tax Invoice. A Tax Invoice will be made available by Mumbai Express as the case maybe upon request.
• It is Shipper’s obligation to ensure that all shipment tendered to Mumbai Express. For carriage are prepared and packed sufficiently to ensure safe transportation with ordinary care and handling. Any article susceptible to damage as a result or any condition which may be encountered in transportation, collection or delivery must be adequately protected by the customer by proper packing.
• Prepaid Consignment charges,you pay and use basic for our franchises partner to all over India

Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Once you have activated Franchise cost & Cnote Charges cost will be deducted, which is non-refundable.
• Prepaid Consignment charges, you pay and use basic for our franchises partner to all over India.
• Franchises setup cost 25000/- Cnote Cost Per Stickers 8/- this amount should be change without any prior notice.
